When your client applies for Fast Forward by sbtpg they will receive email and/or text message notifications about the status of their Fast Forward request. Here are examples of the emails that we may send to your taxpayer clients. The text message notifications similar content, but these notifications are much shorter versions of the email notifications.
Fast Forward approved
This email is sent when your client's Fast Forward request is approved and funds have been successfully deposited into your client's bank account.
Fast Forward declined
This email is sent when your client's Fast Forward request has been declined.
Fast Forward declined due to bank rejection
This email is sent when your client's Fast Forward request has been declined due to your client's bank rejecting the deposit.
Fast Forward by sbtpg is provided by Green Dot Bank. Terms and fees apply. To be eligible for Fast Forward, the taxpayer must have a Refund Transfer for a federal tax refund that is no more than $10,000 and have selected direct deposit or a Green Dot Bank-issued debit or prepaid card as the disbursement method for their refund proceeds. Availability may vary based on the taxpayer's bank participating in Real-Time Payments, IRS pre-notification of pending refund deposit, and availability of funds. $25.00 fee is not charged if the taxpayer is ineligible or if their refund is deposited to a new Green Dot Prepaid Visa Card disbursed through your office after 1/1/25.
