Once the IRS or State deposits a Taxpayer's refund, all associated fees are deducted from the refund amount and your tax preparation fees are direct deposited into your bank account on file with Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (sbtpg).

The funds normally arrive in your bank account the next business day (weekends, Federal Holidays excluded).

Are there any delays?

Usually 1 to 2 days before a refund is scheduled to arrive, the IRS sends a pre-notification of the refund amount to sbtpg.  The IRS does not deposit the money at this time, but it is only a notification that the refund is on its way. We set up the disbursement upon receiving that pre-notification so that once the refund is released money reaches the taxpayer account within 1-2 business days. Your fees arrive on the same schedule.
